Do animal friends pay out? ›

If the amount you are claiming for is more than your excess, we can review your claim and may be able to make a payment if the accident, illness or condition is covered under your policy. Your excess is paid by you to your vet practice. Animal Friends would look to cover the remaining amount.

Send your claim, or ask your vet to send your claim to us as soon as possible, preferably within 90 days of your dog having treatment.

We don't cover any other dental or gum treatments or conditions, including epulis. We'll also only cover dental illness or accident claims on these policies if your pet had a dental exam within a year of the injury or illness and you followed the vet's advice.
